Over the past 20 years, the English With A Smile (EWAS) program has received a number of prestigious professional endorsements. In 2003, Professor James E. Alatis, Distinguished Professor of Linguistics at Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) endorsed the EWAS programs. Since then, EWAS and Georgetown conduct training workshops for Taiwanese teachers at the Georgetown University campus.
