EWAS Educational Programs

Overview

Children with EWAS activity booksThe EWAS language instruction system is based on our original, exclusive courses specifically designed to teach English to children ages 3 to 11.

The courses in the program develop the skills young learners need to master the English language:

  • Listening
  • Speaking
  • Reading
  • Writing

The engaging EWAS stories feature delightful characters doing real-life activities. Rather than learning isolated vocabulary and structures detached from any context, EWAS pupils learn words, phrases and sentences in the context of meaningful stories. The courses progress and build on the material and skills in the previous one.

All EWAS courses include colorful, attractive storybooks; activity books; song books; and story and music CDs.

  • The storybooks form the heart of each EWAS program. Each one tells a complete story designed to motivate the pupils to want to learn English. The colorful, attractive graphics contribute to the pleasant atmosphere and create the context in which the children learn English. This context sets EWAS programs apart.
  • The activity books include a wide range of activities. All the activities have been designed, classroom-tested, and then refined in order to stimulate language production and to practice and informally test language skills.
  • The audio CDs for each course include a tape script of the story and a CD of original songs written especially for the program. CDs are for use in the classroom and at home.
  • Pupil songbooks for the two reading programs include all of the lyrics of the songs. The pupils can practice reading and singing the songs both in class and at home.

EWAS provides teachers with props, handbooks, detailed lesson plans, an intensive 40-hour training program, and ongoing workshops.

We also offer comprehensive, exciting franchisee opportunities around the world.
