Program 2: Bobby English and the Bears

Overview Bobby English and the Bears makes the English language come alive from the very first lesson. The second course of the EWAS series, the Bobby English and the Bears picture book follows the highly engaging character, Bobby English, as he — along with Brother and Sister Bear — make their way through an amusing, fun-filled school day.
Pupils start learning their English-language skills using the picture storybooks and activity books and accompanying song and story CDs.

- To encourage pupils to listen to English and to speak it as it is spoken by native speakers
- To acquire the following communication fundamentals:
- Listening comprehension skills - Understanding basic vocabulary and word structures - Speaking skills - Producing the sounds and rhythms of the English language
