Program 3: The Reading Express

Overview
At the heart of The Reading Express lies an exciting story designed to be a first reading experience. It builds on the material presented in Bobby English and motivates pupils to read as they follow the characters in an amusement park featuring the most exciting ride — the Reading Express! There’s suspense and humor all along the way!
The Reading Express can be used as a stand-alone course for pupils who have not yet learned to read English. It is also compatible with other beginning-level spoken English courses.

Course Objectives
With The Reading Express, children will — |
- Learn the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Learn the fundamentals of reading through the EWAS special approach to reading
- Practice the rhythms and accents of the language through all of the components of the program
- Practice reading and writing through varied EWAS activities
