We welcome you and your child to the EWAS Family and to English With A Smile. We are pleased that you are interested in EWAS as your child’s English language program of study.

We at EWAS International are experts in teaching English to young children. We have had more than thirty years experience in this field. Based upon our extensive experience and the latest, most authoritative research on the teaching and learning of language, we have created the programs your child is learning. EWAS programs work! Where children learn the EWAS way, they learn to love the language and can speak it and understand it in the most natural way (as do native speakers). This is success in learning the language.

Most other programs measure success by the quantity of words that they present. EWAS programs, on the other hand, do much more than teach words. EWAS programs give the pupils the skills and the practice to be able to communicate in the language. EWAS pupils learn to speak in a native accent with the help of the CDs and our foreign teachers (native speakers). EWAS pupils learn to pronounce words correctly so that their meaning is clear to everyone. EWAS pupils learn to produce sentences spoken with the rhythm and expression needed to communicate effectively. All this and much more have been taken into account in the EWAS programs.

All the most recent research states unequivocally that young children should learn language in a no-pressure, pleasant and fun-filled atmosphere. Further, research states that language learning is a process that takes time. Children learn at different paces. The success of the pupils in learning English should be measured at the end of the process. Pressuring children is most often counterproductive. Please be patient and help us to teach your children according to the most recent and advanced research.
